Sydney defeats Hobart!

This weekend saw one of our favourites on the tennis calendar, Hobart vs Sydney.
The tennis was hotly contested with the two clubs going match for match until the middle of the second day’s play when Sydney pulled ahead to lead by three rubbers at the end of day two.
Sunday saw a valiant fight back from the home side to draw level after needing to win the last three rubbers and doing just that. The effort was in vain however as Sydney took home the trophy by a solitary game after what was a fantastic weekend of tennis.
We’d like to thank the Sydney players and their entourage for once again making the trip down and we look forward to travelling there in 2025 after the opening of their brand new court.
