Professional

Jackson Pastoor

A Hobart local with a strong background in lawn tennis Jackson joined the Hobart Real Tennis Club in 2021 and has taken to the game quite well.  A tall man who covers the court well with a lethal volley, he recently competed in his first Australian Open in January 2024 as well as the Tasmanian and Victorian Open’s. He now has eyes on playing an international event within the next two years, with a current handicap of 15 he’s working hard to improve further to turn that goal into a reality.
As well as a playing background Jackson also has a background in tennis coaching having coached for eight years and completed one of Tennis Australia’s coaching courses. He’s extremely passionate about knowledge transfer and is keen to pass on everything he has learned to the membership and improve their real tennis games to the best of his ability.
