150 YEARS OF HRTC

In January 2025 we will be celebrating our 150th Anniversary and to achieve such a milestone is no small feat. Our club has stood the test of time through the hard work of committee volunteers, club pros and of course, the members. To kick off our year of celebration, we have a carnival of tennis and festivity planned for January. Let us band together and help celebrate this once in a lifetime achievement by signing up to one or multiple of our fantastic events!

150th ANNIVERSARY DINNER

Celebrate the Hobart Real Tennis Club's 150th Anniversary at a magnificent Gala Dinner on January 11, 2025, at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania. Enjoy an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and camaraderie as we reflect on our heritage and toast to the future of Real Tennis. This is a night not to be missed, as we honour our legacy and the vibrant community that makes our club special!

Dress Code - Jacket and tie

Time: 6.30pm for 7pm start

GOVERNMENT HOUSE RECEPTION

Join us for an elegant evening at Government House on January 7, 2025, celebrating the Australian Open and the 150th Anniversary of the Hobart Real Tennis Club. This special reception brings together players, members and friends to honour our rich history and toast to a thrilling championship ahead in a stunning, historic setting. 

Dress Code - Jacket and tie

150th ANNIVERSARY HANDICAP DOUBLES

Join us for the 150th Anniversary Handicap Doubles Tournament from January 13-17, 2025! This exciting round-robin event is open to all members and friends of the Hobart Real Tennis Club. We invite players of all skill levels to compete in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Choose from one of a number of round robin groups available with finals on January 17th. Further details to follow.
